Cristina Finlick-Rataxes is Flora's pen pal and friend, wife of Victor Rataxes, & mother of Rhudi Christian Rataxes Finlick. She is also a princess like Flora but at first says that she is a Queen.
Biography[]
Christina was first introduced in A Pair of Queens where we find out from Flora that they had been writing to each other for a long time and she was going to be visiting that same day, but up until then they had never met in person. Flora gives Christina a tour of the palace all while trying to avoid the watchful eyes of Cornelius. She is very excited to see many of the exaggerated items and places Flora mentioned in her letters. While she does enjoy herself she starts to feel guilty that she didn't tell Flora the truth, that she is not the Queen but the Princess of Finlick. After she leaves, Cornelius sees her throw her royal sash into the nearby Garbage Can. Flora meets her at the bus stop, and apologizes to her and she does the same for Flora. She spends the weekend in Celesteville to get to know Flora better and even Pom and Alexander.
Trivia[]
- In Babar and the Adventures of Badou we find out that she married Victor Rataxes and had a first born son named Rhudi.
- She is the second non-elephant animal to befriend the children, the first being Victor.
- In the episode Kings of the Castle, she is briefly seen in the school with the triplets, despite the fact that Cristina is from a different kingdom and in the episode Radio Riot she made her cameo in Zephir's ice cream parlor.
