Isabelle is Babar & Celeste's adorable and beautiful youngest child. She is currently the Princess of Celesteville under Babar.
Biography[]
As the youngest child, she is the most playful and the sweetest of the children. When we first see her she is around 2 or 3 years old, later on she gets bigger and is currently 4 or 5 years old. In the first two seasons, she wore a white dress with red lines like in the stories, from season three onwards, she wears a blue dress and white shoes.
In the episode Special Delivery, we get to see that when Isabelle first arrived home, the triplets all wanted to play with her, but instead they got in trouble for waking her or disturbing her. The Triplets became hurt and jealous when Babar and Celeste were paying more attention to her, because she was still a baby and needed the attention. Eventually the three want nothing to do with her, Pom and Alexander decided to get rid of her (or sell her), and Flora tries to run away thinking her parents only love Isabelle. When Flora is found, her parents assure her that they still love her and her brothers and how much Baby Isabelle reminds them of Flora. Eventually the brothers warm up to her, especially when Babar reads them a story as he promised he would.
Personality[]
In earlier seasons, she does not have as many appearances as the triplets did, in fact she didn't appear until Babar: The Movie. In the show, she didn't make her first appearance until Season 2 in the episode Peer Pressure. When we do see her she is still a toddler, and gets very excited easily. In season 3, we see her as a young girl who is around 4 or 5 years old. Like many little girls her age, she is still learning but is smart like her father and still very happy. Her parents are very patient with her, as are her siblings and the staff, especially when she asked about the anniversary of Celesteville, her father, Cornelius, and Pompadour explain it to her.1 She and her sister Flora are close, she and Pom get along very well, and in one episode tried to bond with Alexander, and while he wasn't up for it at first, he and Isabelle were close at the end, even hugging her.2 She is always willing to help others, especially her family and the staff. When Cornelius and Pompadour weren't speaking to each other in Friendly Agreement she tries to help them out. In The One That Got Away, she is very good at fishing using a flower as bait, despite the fact that she had never fished before. Unlike Babar or the rest of the staff, she has no trouble trusting people as she was willing to give Rataxes a stamp he came to get.
