Julian is a minor character from the present scenes of "The Show Must Go On."
In the episode, Julian is in a Rapunzel play directed by Flora. Julian does not enjoy the name Rapunzel because he has trouble saying it right, so he, being difficult, wants her to change the name to Jane. She expects him to be reasonable, but he says that either the name goes, or he goes.
This situation reminds Babar of when he had to deal with another difficult dancer, Mademoiselle Soretoza.
After the story, Julian has been listening (he corrects it claiming it to be "thinking") and decides to dismiss the "Rapunzel-to-Jane" idea.
