Disambiguation: for Babar's advisor see Pompadour.: Pom is the oldest of the triplets and Babar and Celeste's oldest child, which makes him the heir to the throne. He is currently the Crown Prince of Celesteville under Babar.
Biography[]
Not only is Pom the oldest of the Triplets, he is also the smartest. When there was an intruder outside the palace, he was the first to see it and when Pompadour was taken, he knew exactly what his Father would have done in that situation.1 He also knows his brother and sisters very well, when Flora "ran away," he knew that she would never leave suddenly and she was just hiding inside the palace. When Flora is found, he tells her that as much as they want to get away from baby Isabelle, running away is not the answer.2 When Alexander thought there was a witch across the gorge, Pom knew two things; they were not supposed to cross the gorge because Babar told them it was unsafe and there are no such thing as witches.3 Just like Babar, Pom cares very deeply about his family and the Palace staff, when Alexander refused to leave a tribe who made Alexander their King, Pom refused to leave him behind, and even used reverse psychology knowing that Alexander would return. He is also a good storyteller, just like his father as shown in The Intruder and Remember When...?.
Personality[]
Pom is kind and patient, while he can tease Flora occasionally he is nicer than Alexander. He is also responsible and is willing to do the right thing. Unlike his brother, he prefers science over sports as he owns a chemistry set and for his eleventh birthday, got a microscope. He is also a scout along with Victor, when they were stranded on the mountain in a balloon and went to look for food, he knew what food was safe to eat in the wild but had a little trouble finding his way back to the balloon. He also keeps on trying even if he does not succeed. When he tried out to be a player on the basketball team, he was instead was made towel boy, but with each practice he got better, but still had trouble telling his parents he didn't make the team.

- From season 3 onward, he was voiced by Benjamin Barrett, who actually provided a slightly deeper voice for Pom.
- Pom usually wears black shoes, but in seasons 1 - 2, he can be seen wearing blue shoes, the same color kind Alexander wears. He also has a collared shirt rather than a t-shirt
- Pom still reprises in Babar and the Adventures of Badou, but he's not seen with Flora and Alexander because they moved away somewhere unknown and they're all grown up now. Since he is the oldest it makes sense that he is still in Celesteville. He is the father of Badou, and the husband of Periwinkle. His skin changed from gray to tan gray when he grew up. He used to call his father "Dad" and "Father", but as an adult he now calls him "Pop".
- Pom turns into a pig in Land of Witches because of Lulu being made fun of not being a real witch.
- Both of Pom's voice actors had played friends of Ramona Quimby in the Ramona series, with Becken, his first, playing Howie Kemp, and Barrett, his second, playing Tommy. Subsequently, both boy actors' first and last names all start with a B.
