When a baby elephant is found outside Lord Rataxes' palace, he has to learn the importance of parenthood until her parents are found.
Plot[]
The episode opens with Victor leaving on a weekend camping trip with the troop and his parents say goodbye. Later that day when Rataxes gets the paper, he finds a baby elephant. Lady Rataxes says that they should take her on, but Rataxes wants nothing to do with her and he tries to lose her but Lady Rataxes is against him doing something. Eventually Rataxes takes the baby to Babar who asks him to take the baby on, Babar turns down the offer but says that he will look for her parents. While Rataxes is still annoyed by the whole thing, before long he actually comes to care for the baby and even names her Daphne.
